Mrs. Skiba

This is Mrs. Skiba.
Mrs. Skiba was my 4th and 5th grade teacher, but I would say that she has never stopped teaching me.

Mrs. Skiba is one of, if not the, most influential person of my life.

No one has ever taught me more about tolerance, acceptance, and overall love as she has.

The image didnt come up when the page loaded...regardless...what a wonderful memory of your teacher. It goes to show you how influential they are to children.

Thanks for your comment Kyle and the pleasure is mine. You all are more than welcome anytime here in London! :) Take care....

I love how you honored your teacher with such a heartfelt entry.

I once wrote a column for my city's newspaper about my kindergarten teacher. I think you would enjoy it. Here's the link:

Enjoy!

your style from what I've noticed is...

High contrast...

lots of "looking up" perspective....(ex. buildings)

use of browns, and dark yellows, blacks...aged picture sort of feel.

the white-balance is predominantly warmer...

....saturation is usually kept really low.

lots of sharp edges.

but I think the main thing that makes a picture a Kyle picture, is the colors used.

if there is color, it is rarely saturated, it's usually subtle.

From your observation's...do I have a style?

I was already planning on it :)

ps.

I actually never dodge or burn my pictures....I don't even remember the last time I used those tools.

usually the way I shoot them is the way I post them.
