This weather is pretty gross.
Warm, wet, and snowy.
But at least it's warming up.

I love the trees in the background! They really strengthen the composition, but I think that the edge of the trees and the edge of the log need to be spaced a bit farther apart.

near where i grew up there is a viaduct - a dam kind of thing i guess - and years ago there used to be a village in the valley floor....
....every now and then if there is a big drought, the water level drops enough to see the church steeple
it's eerie and so is your picture, beautifully so....
is that a swamp? or are the water levels just high? i agree with harbour, very eerie...but a beautiful eerie. we've been having the same type of weather here until today....wind and sunshine! i felt as if i was coming out of hibernation with the sun streaming through the windows this morning. saw you on anna's and linked over.....
